The Nordson Model XIV glue machine melts and pumps hot melt adhesives, and other thermoplastic materials, through two (2) electrically heated hydraulic hoses and electrically operated extrusion guns. Extrusion nozzles of various sizes may be
selected to establish the desired bead size and configuration. The Model XIV features an aluminum tank with a cast-in heating element and a dual-acting, single piston hydraulic pump. This pump transfers material from the tank to the hoses on both the up- and downstroke, providing a more constant flow to the guns.
